Between the Glories
Text: Acts 22:7, II Chronicles 11:30
The story between the glories is a story that is meant to be a continuing story. Saul who became Paul saw God’s glory as a powerful bright light shone down on him on the road to Damascus. God chose him to be a vessel unto Him who would suffer many things for His namesake. Paul’s story between glories was filled with much suffering and persecution. He was beaten, stoned, in peril, in pain, in hunger and thirst. Satan was there to hinder him every step of the way, but Paul continued on. We must go through many things fainting not as we continue on building our stories between glories. All things truly work together for the good of those who love the Lord, even suffering. Some suffering in the midst of our stories is self inflicted. Flesh and habits have to be denied. As Paul was crucified with Christ, so must we be. Revelation is progressive and we must know in whom we have believed to achieve experiencing God’s glory. Jesus Christ must be the center of our story between glories. He was wounded for our short comings. He was bruised for our sins and rebellion. All have sinned and come short of the glory, yet it is still available for all to experience as we continue on building our stories. What are you doing for the Lord now...are you building new stories?
